Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan has today met the Members of National Integrity Commission (NIC). The meeting was held at National Integrity Commission.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss about the responsibilities mandated to both institutions by the law.
In addition, the meeting will also pave way for both institutions to execute their legally-assigned duties better while both institutions are to provide full cooperation in resolving issues.
In addition to Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal and Senior Legal Officer Uz Abdulla Zahir of Maldives Correctional Service.
The National Integrity Commission was represented by President Mr Mohamed Faruhad, Vice President Mr Yoosuf Maaniu Mohamed and members Uz Hassaan Hameed, Uza Khadheeja Abdulla and Mr Ahmed Ameen.
