Maldives Correctional Service has today carried out an event at Maafushi to celebrate the Children’s Day.
The event was organized and carried out by Maafushi Prison Officers and officers of Institute for Correctional Studies (ICOST) and Emergency Support Group (ESG). The event also coincides with the fourth anniversary celebrations of ICOST.
The event consisted of visiting all houses of Maafushi and presenting T-shirts and balloons to the children with full spirit and energy.
Maldives Correctional Service strives to organize such events with the aim of developing better relations and work closely with the community.
