Maafushi prison officers have today carried out a road-levelling programme at K. Maafushi in collaboration with the Maafushi Council.
Maldives Correctional Service said that the programme was carried out on the main roads Maafushi to resolve the puddle issues facing residents of the Island during the monsoon season. The programme included placement and levelling of sand to obstruct the collection of water.
The work was carried out from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm.
Maafushi Prison is the biggest prison under the flag of Maldives Correctional Service.
