The Maafushi Prison of Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has held special activities today for the female inmates to celebrate the International Women’s Day.
Today’s activities started at 10am with several sports activities such as relay race and sack race. The activities also including the cutting of a special themed cake and painting of a canvas representing this year’s Women’s Day’s theme.
A total of 61 female inmates participated in the activities.
The activities were organised by the Female Unit of Maafushi Prison.
