Maafushi Prison of Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has initiated awareness sessions on laws and regulations for Maafushi Prison staff.
The sessions will continue for three days starting from 17th February 2022. The purpose of the sessions is to induct Maafushi Prison staff on laws and regulations so that they can effectively-utilise that knowledge in the working environment.
A total of 27 female officers and 113 male officers will be attending the awareness sessions.
The sessions are organised by Maafushi prison while staff of MCS’s Professional Standards will be providing the information on laws and regulations. Sessions such as these will also continue to be held in future.
