Male’ Prison is the champion of “iCom PRC Futsal Tournament 2018” organised by PRC.
Male’ Prison won the championship after defeating Team Asseyri with a score of 3-1.
The final match of the Tournament was honoured by Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan.
Executive officers of Maldives Correctional Service, Prison Club’s President and Vice President CPO Abdul Ghanee and SP Anwar Moosa, senior officers and a large number of officers and civilians attended the match.
A ceremony to award winning teams and notable players of the Tournament were held after the match.
The man-of-the-match of the final match was Male’ Prison’s jersey no. 7, Ismail Zareer. He had scored a hat-trick in the match.
Male’ Prison’s coach Ali Niyaz was chosen as the “Best Coach” of the Tournament while the “Top Scorer” of the Tournament was Male’ Prison’s Ismail Zareer.
The “Top 5 Players” of the Tournament was Male’ Prison’s Ismail Zareer, Team HQ’s Adam Mansoor and Moosa Hassan Fulhu and Team Asseyri’s Ali Sajid and Hussain Nafiu. Hulhumale’ Prison was chosen as the “Fair Play Team”.
A total of five teams competed in the Tournament; Maafushi Prison, Asseyri Prison, Male’ Prison, Hulhumale’ Prison and Team HQ.
