Maafushi Prison has last night held a “Gathering Night” for officers to communicate the responsibilities of thefour commands of Maafushi Prison.
The chief guest of the Gathering was Director of Prison Assistant Superintendent Abdulla Ameen. The main purposes of the reception include creating awareness among officers regarding the roles the four commands, how their responsibilities are arranged, the roles of the heads of the commands and the roles of the department heads under each command as well as inducting the officers to “Chain of Command”.
The “Gathering Night” is to be held each month by one of four commands to communicate information and responsibilities of that particular command. In that regard, last night’s reception was hosted by Prisoner Service Command and the departments under the command.
