Prison Recreation Club (PRC) has last night won its first match of Club Maldives Cup 2017 after defeating Thauleemee Gulhun.
PRC Team won the Group B match played at the grounds of Kulhivaru Ekuveni with a score of 3-2.
The three goals of PRC Team were scored by Hussain Ali, Adam Mansoor and Jailam Jameel. The Team missed the mark on several scoring opportunities.
The supporters had nearly shaken the stadium with their boisterous cheers.
PRC Team is to face Dhivehi Sifainge Club next on Saturday at 4 pm.
The Club Maldives Club has been held for the past 12 years, with 32 teams participating this year’s tournament.
