Hulhumale’ Detention Centre has held a flag hoisting ceremony late midnight to celebrate its fourth anniversary.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal.
The ceremony was joined by the Hulhumale’ Detention Centre’s Director, Chief Prisons Officer Ismail Naseer as well as the senior management of other prisons and commissioned officers of Maldives Correctional Service.
The ceremony also included a brief speech given by the chief guest as well as the renewal of the oath by Hulhumale’ Detention Centre’s Director, Chief Prisons Officer Ismail Naseer.
The ceremony was concluded by cutting of the anniversary cake.
