Maafushi Prison of Maldives Correctional Service has last night held a dinner night at to celebrate the Prison’s 18th anniversary.
The chief guest of the dinner night was Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan.
The dinner night’s events included the awarding of certificates to officers and staff with exemplary attendance over the past year and other notable persons.
In addition to the Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal, the dinner night was attended by commissioned officers of Maldives Correctional Service, prison officers of senior ranks and a number of officers from Maafushi Prison and their families.
