Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohamed Sadiq has stated that they will provide close assistance to all endeavours of Maldives Correctional Service (MCS).
Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohamed Sadiq had made the statement yesterday morning while speaking at the closing ceremony of the ASR training programme conducted jointly by Police Academy and Prisons Academy. Deputy Commissioner Sadiq said that whether it was the academic, legislative or any other field, Maldives Police Service will provide the highest level of support to MCS.
He also said that there were two uniform bodies in law enforcement and it would be better to draft policies and regulations with positive points from regulations of both institutions and will is an opportunity for MCS officers to perform their duties spiritedly.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that the careers in law enforcement are very stressful and urged to choose patience during testing times in the line of duty. He requested all to work within the law and to refrain from taking any actions against the law.
His speech also included a glance at the history of Maldives Police Service and highlighted the way things were done and the challenges faced in executing duties. The Deputy Commissioner also spoke about MCS in the evolving world and requested to work to incorporate modern technology.
“So believe that Maldives Police Service is your backup, we will provide you very close support,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohamed Sadiq.
