Maldives Correctional Service has begun a computer course targeted for senior officers working at the prisons.
The five-week course is registered at Maldives Qualifications Authority and a total of 21 officers are participating in the course including seven officers from Maafushi Prison, five officers from Male’ Prison, one officer from Asseyri Prison and one officer from the Institute for Correctional Studies.
Maldives Correctional Service has stated that some of the modules to be covered during the course are computer networking, server and safe surfing on the internet.
