Maldives Correctional Service’s project to expand the barracks at the Remand Centre is progressing swiftly.
The barracks is being expanded into a two-storey building to resolve the space-limitation issue currently facing Male’ Prison officers at the existing barracks.
The new room is being constructed by hardworking officers of Male’ Prison and inmates working under the allowance-policy.
