The first batch of “Certificate 1 for Basic Sewing” course organised by Maldives Correctional Service for inmates has concluded.
The five-week course is registered at Maldives Qualifications Authority and a total of 20 inmates participated in the course. The Course also includes theory and practical modules.
The second batch of “Certificate 1 for Basic Sewing” is currently underway at Maafushi Prison with 20 inmates.
The “Certificate 2 for Basic Sewing” course is set to commence soon while Maldives Correctional Service continues to conduct many such rehabilitative programmes for inmates.
