Maldives Correctional Service has stated that a Bangladeshi national detained at the Hulhumale’ Detention Centre has passed away today.
The detainee, Noorul Alam, 28, had passed away while being treated at Hulhumale’ Hospital following complains of chest pains.
Noorul Alam was handed over to Maldives Correctional Service for detention by Department of Immigration and Emigration on October 12, 2015.
