Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) and Maafushi Health Centre have carried out a tree-planting programme at K. Maafushi to commemorate the World Health Day.
Under the programme, Maafushi Prison Officers and staff of Maafushi Health Centre had planted several shady trees in front of Maafushi School and Maafushi Health Centre yard.
The purpose of MCS’s participation in the programme is to widen its involvement in the community and to improve ties with the public.
