Hulhumale’ Detention Centre Team has won the Escort Challenge Football Tournament held at Hulhumale’ Stelco Futsal Court today.
Hulhumale’ Detention Centre Team had defeated FC Bravo with an impressive score of 11:3 and claimed the championship trophy.
The winning team had shown great skill in the final match, with Hussain Sobah scoring five goals. Hussain Rilwan, Ismail Mohamed, Abdulla Jameel, Mohamed Mauroof, Mohamed Siraj and Hassan Nashid each had scored a goal.
The three goals of FC Bravo were scored by Saifulla Yoosuf, Ibrahim Ahsan and Mohamed Wijdan.
The trophy and cheque prize was presented to Hulhumale’ Detention Centre Team by the Chief Guest Commissioner of Prisons Mohamed Husham.
The second runner-up team of the tournament was HQ Team, who also showed remarkable skill during the tournament.
