Commissioner of prisons, Abdullah Munaz has visited Hulhumale’ prison, today.
During this visit CP visited the worksite of Hulhumale prison and observed the works of inmates under the agreement between Maldive gas and Maldives Correctional Service. The agreement was to repair equipment of Maldive gas by the inmates for a given duration. Inmates will also be paid for the works they do.
During the visit CP also conducted a meeting with the senior management of Hulhumale Prison and discussed on ways to improve the situation of prison.
