Bank of Maldives has yesterday held an Internet Banking event at Maafushi Prison of Maldives Correctional Service.
The purpose of the event is to offer prison officers the opportunity to subscribe to Internet Banking at the comfort of their workplace rather than having to visit the nearest branch to submit the application.
Several officers had taken part in the event; which was carried out with the assistance from the BML outlet in Maafushi.
A similar event is scheduled to be held next week for the prison and civil officers at MCS Head Office where in addition to providing information, MCS employees will also have the opportunity to apply for the service while at the comfort of their workplace.
