Maafushi Prison has moved on to the 2nd round of “PRC Football Tournament 2017” after easily defeating Male’ Prison. The tournament is being held at Himmafushi.
Maafushi Prison had won today’s match with a score of 5-0. With this win, Maafushi is currently leading the point table with 9 points as the Team had won all the three matches they played. With 3 points and goal differences, Team Asseyri is currently at the second place of the table. Team ESG, Team HQ and Male’ Prison still has a chance of procuring a place at the second round.
Maafushi Prison was only able to score one goal during the first half, though the Team had scored four goals during the second half. Maafushi Prison’s Hussain Mohamed had done a hat-trick by scoring three of the five goals, while Jailam Jameel had scored the remaining two. Hussain Mohamed had been the man-of-the-match of today’s match.
Tomorrow’s match is scheduled between ESG and Team HQ.
