Maafushi Prison Team has today won the fourth match of “PRC Football Tournament 2017” after defeating ESG with a score of 2-1.
Today’s match was the liveliest match of the tournament to date. Maafushi Prison Team’s Hussain Rilwan scored a goal in the 18th minute of the first half of the match. The score held on till the end of the first half.
The second half of the match saw both teams play very well. ESG improved their game and scored an equaliser at the 11th minute. The goal was scored by Ahmed Shamin. Maafushi Prison’s Hussain Mohamed had scored the winning goal near the end of second half.
Following the match, Maafushi Prison Team’s Coach Ahmed Shahin said that he was rather satisfied with the match as the desired outcome has been achieved. He said that it was the end of a long wait and his team’s performance was worthy of praise and the outcome was due to the strength of his Team.
Maafushi Prison’s Jailam Jameel won the man-of-the-match title for the match.
Tomorrow’s match is scheduled between Asseyri Prison Team and Team HQ.
