Asseyri Prison Team has today defeated Male’ Prison in the third match of “PRC Football Tournament 2017” with a score of 5-2. The Tournament is being held at K. Himmafushi.
Asseyri Prison Team had played such a tremendous game that it had shaken Male’ Prison Team. Asseyri Prison’s Ibrahim Haleem and Sharaf Shakir each had scored two goals while Hussain Nafiz had scored the remaining goal.
Male’ Prison Team’s goals were scored by Ali Shareef and Ahmed Fiyaz.
Following the match, Asseyri Team’s Coach Abdulla Rashad said that he was rather satisfied with the performance of his team and that they had used the instructions very well. He also said that there was no team that Asseyri Prison Team would hesitate to face and he hoped that the next match will also be won by his Team. Coach Rashad further said that Male’ Prison Team was not a weak team but Asseyri Team’s game was different.
Asseyri Prison’s Ibrahim Haleem had won the man-of-the-match title for the match, who had scored two goals for his team.
The tournament is organised by Prison Club and carried out with the aim to foster unity and friendship among prison and civil officers of Maldives Correctional Service.
