The delegation from Bangladesh Prison Department visiting Maldives at the invitation of Maldives Correctional Service has concluded their four-day visit to Maldives.
The Bangladeshi delegation included Deputy Inspector General of Prisons Ashim Kanta Paul, Deputy Inspector General of Prisons Md Nurun Nabi Bhuiyan, Jailor A.K.A.M. Masum, Jailor Md Abu Talib, Deputy Director Mr Mohammad Mamun of Divisional Intelligence Office, Department of Narcotics Control and Deputy Secretary Mr MD Abdul Kadir of Security Services Division, Ministry of Home Affairs.
The delegation visited Maldives from 20th – 24th June 2017. During their visit, the delegation had met with Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan, who had in turn addressed several queries from the delegation.
In addition, the delegation had also visited and seen the operations of the prisons under Maldives Correctional Services.
