The Volleyball tournament organised for inmates at Asseyri Prison has concluded after Team Red won the championship after defeating Team Green.
Team Red had won the final match played yesterday with a score of 03 set 01 set.
Following the final match, trophies and certificates were handed over to the winning teams and notable players by Commissioner of Prison Ahmed Shihan, Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons Ibrahim Nashid, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons Mohamed Tholaal and Deputy Director of Asseyri Prison, Chief Prisons Officer Ahmed Jaadulla.
Maldives Correctional Service continues to organise such events for inmates as well as educational and skill-based training courses to rehabilitate inmates and to maintain their psychological and physiological health.
