Prison Officers participate in the Independence Day parade

Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has today participated in the parade organised as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of Maldivian Independence. The parade was held at the Galholhu Stadium and was joined by 80 prison officers.

It is the first time Maldives Correctional Service has participated in a parade. The MCS troops, led by Director of Male’ Prison, Superintendent of Prisons Moosa Anwar received a good response from the public.

It is very pleasing to note the spirit of solidarity and companionship among Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) officers and staff; especially during a time of constant change. Every single staff had worked hard to carry out the parade, and the camaraderie of the officers on duty will prove to be a great asset for the future of MCS. .

Maldives Correctional Service sincerely thanks all staff and officers for all their support.
