Institute for Correctional Service (ICOST) of Maldives Correctional Service has yesterday started the 19th batch of the Entry Level Training Programme at Maafushi Prison.
The participants of the training programme include nine male officers and 11 female officers. The duration of the training programme is four months and will be carried out in four semesters.
The programme includes classes on physical training, leadership, ethics, laws and regulation and subjects related to the duties of prison officers.
