Maldives Correctional Service has completed its presentation at the 5th Asian Conference of Correctional Facilities Architect and Planners (ACCFA) yesterday.
Organised by the Ministry of Justice of South Korea, the Conference was held from 14th to 18th March 2016 at Seoul, South Korea. A total of 14 countries and four organisations participated in the Conference.
The main topics of discussion at the Conference were ways to enhance the infrastructure of prisons through technology and ways to improve prisons. In addition, prison designs and points to consider while designing prisons as well as current obstacles to running existing prisons were widely discussed
