Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Mohamed Fulhu has today appointed a special committee to monitor and practically implement the recommendations of “Maldives Prison Audit Report 2019” and met with all the committee members.
The meeting was held at Head Office of Maldives Correctional Service.
Commissioner requested all members to place high importance on all work related to implementing the recommendations as well as to take initiative in the proceedings.
In addition, CP also inquired about the obstacles to implementing the recommendations including budget and various issues and instructed members to prepare weekly reports on the proceedings.
The special committee to monitor and practically implement the recommendations of “Maldives Prison Audit Report 2019” is compiled of seven members from various departments of MCS.
