Asseyri Prison has today held a blood donation programme to celebrate its 7th anniversary in association with Maldivian Blood Service and Maldivian Blood Donors.
The programme was carried out at Himmafushi Medical Centre and was joined by Himmafushi Council, Himmafushi School, some businesses and locals.
Asseyri Prison has informed that a total of 60 people had donated their blood at the programme.
The Director of Asseyri Prison and prison officers would like to thank Middle Catch for organinsing the refreshments; as well as thank all other parties who helped to make the programme a success.
