Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) was defeated at last night’s match of “President’s Cup Recreational Futsal Tournament 2017” by Dhiraagu with a score of 6-7 after penalty shootouts.
The first goal of the match was scored by MCS and the first half ended with this lead. The second half of the match got more spirited and after a few deadly shots; Dhiraagu scored two goals. MCS scored an equaliser close to the end of the second half.
As the score was 2-2 by the end of the match, the winner was determined after penalty shootouts.
Key members of the MCS Team are suffering from injuries sustained from previous matches and were not able to play at last night’s match.
