Male’ Prison has today defeated Team HQ in the ninth match of “PRC Football Tournament 2017” with a score of 2-1.
Male’ Prison had several opportunities to score during the first half but was unable to do so.
By the end of first half, Team HQ was in the lead with one goal scored by Hamdhoon Rasheed. During the second half, Male’ Prison improved their game and soon scored an equaliser. Male’ Prison’s both goals were scored by today’s man-of-the-match Raaidh Aboobakur.
Tomorrow’s match is scheduled between ESG and Asseyri Prison Team.
The purposes of the Tournament are to create friendliness and sports spirit among officers and staff of MCS, to engage them in sports activities and to provide the opportunity for football players to show their skill. In addition, the tournament will also help to maintain the mental and physical health of staff and officers.
