Male’ Prison and Hulhumale’ Detention Centre (HDC) of Maldives Correctional Service have held a dinner night at HDC to celebrate their respective anniversaries. Male’ Prison celebrates its ninth anniversary while HDC celebrates its fourth anniversary.
The ceremony was honoured by chief guest Commissioner of Prison Ahmed Shihan.
During the dinner night, Male’ Prison and HDC presented their annual report of the previous year as well as launched Male’ Prison’s logo which they would be using while participating in future events. The logo was launched by Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan.
The dinner night was continued with live music from MCS’s music band.
The dinner night was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal, commissioned officers and prison officers Male’ Prison and HDC as well as their families.
