Male’ Prison has last night held a flag hoisting ceremony at the Prison to celebrate its ninth anniversary. The ceremony was held at 23:50 hrs.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan.
The ceremony was joined by the Deputy Commissioner of Prison Hassan Zilaal, Director of Male’ Prison Superintendent of Prisons Moosa Anwar, directors of other prisons, commissioned officers as well as a large number of officers from Male’ Prison.
The ceremony also included cutting of the anniversary cake.
