Institute for Correctional Studies (ICOST) of Maldives Correctional Service in association with Quran and Sunnah has today started the ninth batch of Qirat Course Level 1 at Asseyri Prison.
A total of 30 inmates are participating in the eight-week Course. Participants who successfully complete the course will have the opportunity to enroll in the Qirat course level 2.
This course is a part of Maldives Correctional Service’s efforts to rehabilitate inmates for successful reintegration into society. In addition, ICOST continues to conduct several educational and skill-based courses for inmates.
