Prisoner Management has last night defeated Male’ Prison and HDC and won the “Maafushi Prison Volleyball Tournament 2016” following a spirited final match. The final match was played at the volleyball court of Maafushi Prison.
Prisoner Management had won the final match by 3-2 sets while mom-of-the-match was the winning team’s Mohamed Shareef. He had played quite well and productively at last night’s match.
The supporters of both teams had shaken the court with their cheer and support.
Minister of Home Affairs Hon. Azleen Ahmed had graced the closing ceremony of the Tournament with his presence as the chief guest of the ceremony, while the Chairman of the Volleyball Association of Maldives Mr Mohamed Latheef attended as a special guest.
