Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has today conducted an information session for the “Professional Training for Custodial Officer” training for police officers. The session was held at Iskandhar Koshi.
The modules taught during the session include the role of Maldives Correctional Service and the rights given under the law, how to treat inmates and remanded persons, MCS’s efforts to rehabilitate inmates and release them back to the society as good citizens and the rehabilitation framework recently introduced by MCS.
This is the fourth such session ICOST has conducted for Police Custodial.
The session was conducted by facilitators from Institute for Correctional Studies (ICOST).
