A prison officer who attempted to smuggle illegal pills into Maafushi Prison was arrested today at Maafushi.
The prison officer, who worked at Maafushi Prison; was arrested during a special operation conducted by Maldives Police Service.
The Police had found illegal pills after the prison officer was apprehended and searched thoroughly.
