Minister of Home Affairs Honourable Azleen Ahmed has met with the Executive Board of Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) yesterday. The meeting was held at the Head Office of Maldives Correctional Service.
The Honourable Minister had enquired about the various departments and functions of MCS and said that prison officers played a key role in maintaining a safe and peaceful community.
In addition, the Minister had given a briefing on his policy to the Executive Board and vowed to maintain the interest shown by the government to MCS’s efforts to rehabilitate inmates.
