Maldives Correctional Service in association with Quran and Sunnah has started Hifz classes for inmates at Asseyri Prison.
The classes are teaching 36 inmates who are proficient in the recitation of Holy Quran with Tajweed. The classes are being conducted in two groups with 18 inmates at each group.
In addition, Maldives Correctional Service is also conducting Basic Quran Course, Qirat course level 1, 2 and 3 at Maafushi Prison.
Maldives Correctional Service continues to conduct various programmes to rehabilitate inmates for successful reintegration into society.
