Three officers of Maldives Correctional Service flies to South Korea

Three officers from Maldives Correctional Service have today flown to South Korea on an official trip to participate in the 5th Asian Conference of Correctional Facilities Architect and Planners (ACCFA).

The Conference, being held at Seoul from 14th to 18th March 2016 will focus the design of prisons worldwide, including wide discussions on points to consider while designing model prisons and the current obstacles to existing prisons. A total of 12 countries will be participating in the conference.

The officials from Maldives Correctional Service Include Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal, Director of Maafushi Prisons Superintendent of Prisons Mohamed Shaheen Ali and Commanding Officer of Emergency Support Group (ESG) Chief Prison Officer Abdul Ghanee.
