Maafushi Prison’s Unit Managers team has today played a friendly match against Offender Service Team at Maafushi Prison.
While both teams played a good game, the only goal scored was an own goal from Unit Managers team’s Ismail Rasheed.
Following the goal, Unit Managers team had upped their game and made several unsuccessful attempts to score a goal.
The Chairman of the Media Committee of the anniversary activities Senior Prisons Officer Ibrahim Naeem said that the friendly match was organised as part of the activities planned to celebrate the anniversary of Emergency Support Group (ESG) and to boost friendliness among departments.
Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal and senior officers of Head Office and prisons also attended the match.
