The Female team of Institute for Correctional Studies (ICOST) has won the friendly football match played against the female officers of Maafushi Prison with a score of 4:2.
The friendly match was organised as part of the activities planned to celebrate the anniversary of Emergency Support Group (ESG).
The coach of Maafushi Prison team, Senior Prisons Officer Shakeel Shareef said that though his team had played well, the ICOST team had played an impressive game.
ICOST team’s coach said that he was very satisfied with the way his team played and the players were quite courageous; and tonight’s win was a team effort.
The most valuable player of the match was ICOST’s Aminath Suwaidha who showed remarkable skill and scored a hat-trick.
