Institute for Correctional Studies (ICOST) has conducted an orientation program for the civil staffs of Maafushi Prison.
The programwas held at Maafushi Prison lecture hall on 1st and 2nd of December.
The purpose of this program is to aware and acquaint civil staffs of Maafushi Prison to the working environment. They were also given training on how to defend themselves while working in prisons.
ICOST has conducted various other programs targeting employees of Maldives Correctional Service in the past as well.
