Four regulations necessary for the operation of Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) have been gazetted today.
The newly-gazetted regulations include Regulation on Prison Administration, Regulation on screening body and items of inmates, remanded persons and persons held under court order, Regulation on collecting bodily samples, photos and fingerprinting, blood group, dental impressions, body measurements and various ways for body identification of inmates, remanded persons and those held with a court order and Regulation on temporary release of inmates.
There regulations are formulated under the Prison and Parol Act No. 14/2013 of Republic of Maldives.
