An inmate has today passed away while receiving treatment at IGMH.
The inmate who passed away was 51-year-old Hassan Saeed of Snow White, S. Feydhoo. He had been serving a 15-year sentence since 19 January 2016.
Hassan Saeed had complained of chest pains and breathing difficulty late last night. He was taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital and received treatment and was able to breathe better with the use of a machine. He was admitted to ICCU of IGMH for further treatment. He had passed away around 14:30 today.
