Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has yesterday held flag hoisting ceremonies to celebrate its 46th anniversary.
A flag hoisting ceremony was held at each individual prison.
The ceremony was inaugurated by chief guest, Commissioner of Prisons Ahmed Shihan.
In addition to the Commissioner, the ceremonies were also joined by Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal and commissioned officers of MCS.
During the individual ceremonies, colours and medals were also handed over to prison officers for their service and performance.
