FC Recon has won last night’s first match of Maafushi Prison’s “Ramazan Futsal Cup 2016” after defeating Pnather FC with a score of 3-2 while the second match, played by Oscar FC and Unit Management was a draw with a score of 4-4.
Panther FC’s Coach Mohamed Nazim said that he was not happy with the performance because the players had performed better during practice matches. He also noted that the outcome would have been in their favour if the players had played to win. He further said that due to an injury, a very crucial player was not able to play and they had difficulty in finding a suitable replacement.
The second match showed a very spirited and fast game.
The man-of-the-match of last night’s first match was FC Recon’s Amjad Ali, while the man-of-the-match of the second match was Unit Management’s Abdul Raheem Mohamed.
Two matches are set to be played tonight as well. The first match to be played is Panther FC vs Unit Management Senior and the second match will be played by Offender Sports against Ivory.
