Maldives Correctional Service has extended Former President Mohamed Nasheed’s medical leave to seek medical assistance from abroad by 30 days with effect from 19th April 2016.
The Former President’s was granted the extension after he had filed for an extension stating he was required to undergo an operation and submitted necessary documents to support his request.
Maldives Correctional Service had initially granted the Former President medical leave on 18th January 2016.
