Medical Centre of Maldives Correctional Service has today signed an agreement with Aasandha Private Ltd.
Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Hassan Zilaal had signed the agreement on behalf of Maldives Correctional Service while Managing Director Maumoon Abdul Samad had signed on behalf of Aasandha Private Ltd.
The agreement was signed in order to provide continuous health insurance-coverage for inmates and will make it much easier to provide them with necessary medicines.
Aasandha Private Ltd is a health insurance scheme formed to provide medical service coverage for Maldivians.
Medical Centre of Maldives Correctional Service is run to provide medical services to inmates and is registered at Ministry of Health as a Centre.
