Director of Hulhumale’ Detention Centre, Chief Prisons Officer Moosa Anwar has stated that work on the new accommodation block being built on site will be completed by 20th July 2015.
The Director said that the accommodation block is being built to resolve space limitations currently facing the Centre. The new building will also solve the space-constraints issue of a TV hall and a mess hall.
The new building is being constructed by hardworking prison officers of the Centre.
The Director thanked all the officers involved in the accommodation project.
Hulhumale’ Detention Centre was opened on 03rd December 2012.
